Hello! Hola! I’m Isaac and I’d love to help you become your best surfer. I’m a local to the area who has been teaching surf for over 5 years. At 10 years old, I became fascinated with surf magazines and brands and saw my brothers surfing in the ocean, so I started then and never looked back. I have a lot of experience about the ocean, especially here in Santa Teresa, and I’m happy to share it with you. Surfing allows you to fully immerse yourself into the Pura Vida. I love to work with tourists

You've Never Surfed Before?

In this beginner's lesson, we'll first look your standing position (are you goofy or regular). We'll work on how to lay on the board and how to manage the board so you don't get hurt. You'll learn the basic techniques for popping up including how to continue standing up on the board for longer. I'll teach you the techniques for turning as well. We'll also go over safety to be sure you stay safe while having fun.

You Need Help Catching Waves?

In this intermediate lesson, we'll go over the basics if you need a refresher. Then we'll perfect your pop up, duck dive, or turtle roll technique before doing a surf warm up together. Then it's time to paddle to the line up! I'll help you choose the best wave, give you a push, and provide directions so you know when to paddle and pop up, and which way to turn.
