In this session we will be learning the 3 most important aspects which are:

1. Biomechanics
2. Physics
3. Grounding

With this being said, we will go through 20-30 min of land practice to build the following:

1. Building Sweet Balance: How to lay down / get on my board
2. Proper Alignment on my Board: We will recall a few techniques to properly align yourself
3. Press up Technique: This is the famous pop-up and take-off, which is made up of four techniques
4. Refine Surf Stance: Proper posture, how to generate and break speed
5. Create Confidence and Balance: This will ensure you feel comfortable while you surf
6. Surfing Code: This is awareness—you'll learn how to control your board and behave with your board in the water

Then we'll do our warm up and jump in the water, where we'll surf from about 1 hour and 10 minutes. When practicing in the water, we'll be correcting, refining, and creating confidence.

In this surf coaching session, we will analyze your previous experience to fit in or enhance your current techniques. This will allow me to guide you throughout:

1. Wave Selection
2. Proper Paddling Technique
3. Positioning
4. Complete Wave Transition (looking down the line)
5. Sit and Turn Technique
6. A quick reminder on International Surfing Code

In this coaching we will gather all our maneuvers and previous surf experience to clean up the technique for more effective waves:

1. Empowering our Bottom and Top Turns: so we can generate the proper speed to complete our maneuvers effectively
2. Advanced Maneuvers: we'll consider carves, cut backs, snaps, floaters, round houses
3. Pre-pump Technique and Side to Side Pumping Technique: so we can generate speed to hack the wave and land the maneuver
4. Video Analysis: I will bring my camera so I can record you surfing in real time. Then we can analyze the videos and you can go back out to apply the new insights you learned. We will repeat this process every 5-10 waves.
