Buenas, I’m Miguel and I simply love teaching surf — I couldn’t ask for a better office! I grew up here in Playa Hermosa, so the beach was my backyard and I started surfing 20 years ago. There’s something about surf that activates happiness within me. You can enjoy it every day and that amazing feeling of riding a good wave sticks with you for the whole day. To me the secret to being a good surf coach is in making it easy. By knowing my students, I can understand what and how to teach. Besides that, I’m committed to being professional and always giving my best. I love to share my knowledge and see how my students are getting better. You’re basically helping people to learn while they’re having fun.

Beginner's Fun in the White Water
5.0Solo • Private group
We will begin at the beach with 20-30 minutes of theory and practice, discussing all the basics on how to start surfing. Then we'll have 1 hour of practice in the water where you'll put everything you learned on the beach to the test. By the end of this lesson, you should know how to surf white waters.
