I fell in love with Surf 20 years ago, which is what brought me to Santa Teresa. As a nature lover, the contact with the sea motivated me to learn a new sport that changed my life forever. I began my surf career by working at local surf shops for 6+ years, gaining knowledge and experience from profesional surfers. Once I got my first lifeguard certificate, I realized how much I love to help and connect with people. One of my bosses at the time noted my potential and my passion for teaching and trained me to be a surf instructor. Since then, I’ve taught students from all over the world—from kids to 82 year olds. As a woman, I love to teach other women and empower them with my techniques. As a mother, I love to teach children, create a special connection with them and set the basis of discipline as such a young age. I’ve worked on awesome projects like Peak and Swell, as a teacher in several local hotels, and at Take Off Surf School in Playa Hermosa. I believe that my mission is to transmit my love for surf and nature, which I have done with my two little children and all my students. Surfing changes lives—it is a great way to meditate and connect with nature and your inner self in such a magical way. It’s a natural therapy and something that everyone should practice it at least once in their life. It’s my pleasure to spread my love for this magnificent sport and leave in each one of my students a smile and a glimpse of the good energy that Santa Teresa provides. Heart Connection Surf Lessons for Kids
